Hi,

I just had a two week vacation and I finally finished some projects, thought I'd share them with you:

The first one I made after a picture I found on:
http://www.alanhamby.com/gallery2.html

And finally my first kitbash, it's not perfect but it came out good enough for me:

Cheers,
Pascal

Three very interesting and unusual dios I must say. Ok the third is more traditional than the two others, but good work. I like the one with the Maus (?) tank - nice idea.

Thanks for sharing

They all look good pascal! What scale are they in? I've never seen Tiger turrets mounted on pillboxes before! I would add something to the road in the first one, too much open area for my liking. Good job all round!

I would stay away from that 'road' Daniel, that is a firing range......

Thanks for the comments.

Daniel, the scale is 1/72. And as Henk already wrote it is a firing range the first one, the sand is supposed to be clear. The title is "kanonierschule" which means "gunnerschool".
There is a picture of the real thing in "my pictures" if you'd like to see it.

A great job on all, Pascal. I tried to pick a favorite out of the three, but I like them all! It just goes to show that a great dio or vignette can be created with just a simple theme and a few pieces. Really well done!

That picture on my website has always generated a lot of interest. I've contacted several Tiger experts trying to obtain more information on the concrete-mounted turrets but have come up empty. No one seems to know much about them. The actual picture came from the library at the Tank Museum in Bovington, England where the running Tiger I is located. Perhaps one day we'll find out more about it.

Very interesting to see your model of the picture! Great work!
