I'm building up Tamiyas Flak 36 and Sdkfz.7 as they would have appeared in the summer of 1940 during the invasion of France. As these would have been fairly new vehicles and guns so all the markings would be in place.
My question is did early war halftracks or fendered softskins carry a white "L" shape on the fenders (outlining the edges of the fenders) or was that just in Russia? Would half tracks have been camo'd as the early war Panzers (Dk. Grey and Dk. Green) were? Is there a website that might explain this?
I'm sure I'll have more questions
Thanks in advance
