Just got the Dragon Panther "G" Command version. There seems to be a ton of extra partsas they have spockets and such they pulled from a Jagdpanther kit. What can I do with all the extra goodies in changing out my panther from a command to a run of the mill (in case I want to go this option)panther late G. Stuff like side armor or zimmerite. This is just a fishing expedition here, as the kit looks pretty good as is other than needing a metal tube and engne cover grills

Steve,

I dont have the DML kit but I did built a Tamiya panther G late.

From what I see on Actung Panzer book on panther, I know the late version have a raised "vent" on the rear left side. The exhaust is larger. Sometimes the wheel come with steel version (a late G) and zimmerit does not apply As for the diff on run of the mill and command version, leave out the crow's foot atenna.

PM me if you want to know specific things. I have book ready to answer your question.

Bring it by the house. The only Panther books I've got are the 20 yaer old Squadron Signal "in Action" and an Osprey Panther Variants. I have the option of the raised vents as that is a glue on part Just not sure if I want to play around with the wheels and sprockets.

you got it brother. I might be off on sunday. I will bring it over and you can see all versions of panther.

The book its great, got technical drawings, hand drawings, photos...very clear.

Not sure if you want to go with MK tracks... excellent quality. However, it's 5 parts to one link and there are 86 links per side.
