Good stuff Karl!
I always use Cav zim. Sometimes I cross use dml zimm on tamiya and vice versa.
I found that it's almost the same with little modification.
Anyway, glad you are building!

I am building the DML Tiger and using ATAK zimmerit. This stuff is great! Just use elmers glue to attach and there is vertually no trimming. I am converted.

I did this with a Tamiya Panther and Cavalier zim. That was over 10 years ago and it is still holding strong. Simple, simple, simple. "Q"
Easy clean up too should there be any runs, drips, smears...

Karl,
Elmer's (trade name) glue is white glue (paper, wood, and what not).
And you zim looks quite good!

Karl, where did you get the Cavalier Zim from? I checked out Hannants & Historex websites with no mention of it. My LHS just laughed. Did you have to order it from the States?

So, the Tamiya late Tiger Cavalier set seems to be working. PLease post and let me know how the hull sections fit. I've been waiting for Cavalier to make a set for the DML as well. I heard the set they made for the AFV Late Tiger worked well with the DML too.

I've bought from Lou twice: both times I contacted him by email. The first time he took a few days to reply because he'd been away on holiday. The second time he replied within an hour. Both times stuff was delivered within two days of payment (by paypal) and post free.
I'd recommend him without hesitation!
