Dude...you are insane. Incredible work.....but insane. Is this dio for a museum? It's going to be awesome when you are done. What did you use for the books on the bookshelf. Great work.

Cheers,

Thanks Ryan, yes I am certifiable, but the John Laws don't know I'm loose. l.o.l.
The entire dio is 4'x41/2' , I tend to get envolved in each piece I build, but I'm having fun and the family is always making comments and suggestions good and bad but they don't nag me about working on it.
The books are printables - the cut , multipe fold, than glue till you leap off a cliff kind.
The maps are printables as is the rug, some were taken off this site , some I had [ Verlinden ] and some from dollhouse sites.
Chris old man - just posted over on the figure venue, I'll call you tommorrow [ Sunday ]
And yes smartas* I've got plenty of good Bacardi Gold, nutmeg and cinammon [ sp. ? ] to go with my nog.

Wonderful stuff. I love the composition.
One thing that I'm on a fan of - the red line at the bottom of the boarder along the map wall.

You could add a couple of map tubes for the non folded maps.
What are the plans for the edge of the window?

Thanks Scott, the red line is actually a piece of border paper I put up first and then decided against. ssshhhh......
Thanks for the map tube idea also Scott that would be a great addition..... keep em comin.
I do have some Royal Model chandeliers [ sp. ] I plan on using in both rooms.
Now I have to dig deep and find a German Shepard I've got around someplace to lay on the floor.
Thanks again Scott - Cheyenne

Cheyenne, fabulous progress. I love your room and aside from Slodders suggestions can only think of a couple things to add that I think you might like. First how about a couple coffee cups, shot glasses with a bottle of shnapps or even wine glass or two? Secondly what I would love to see is a ash tray full of butts and ashes. And finally how about a trash can in the corner? Aside from that all I can say is WOW great job. Cheers Kevin

Hope to see it progressing.

It really looks good. As I said in a previous thread, I like the atmosphere in this one.
As for ideas: How about a rack with coats?

Looking forward to see the next update.

great job cheyene, i kind of feel like i am pointing out the masters faults here but i have to say that the map that is hanging over the side of table looks a little fake, the map looks as if its made out of material and not paper, becuase if it was paper it would still droop but not so much that it would show the edge outline of the table.

Cheyenne,
the hang of your map over the table edge, Im sure thats no problem to solve, I think it would look better with a little out hang on it ....
Im told buy my family that I have a habit of creasing things that hang over the edges of tables especialy the corners on the back pages of mags and books as I read, perhaps your fellow has the same habit A! he! he!

Any way mate Im enjoying your concept,....good stuff..

Hallo Cheyenne,

Really beautiful work. I am always amazed how neat (sp) and clean everything is, as if you do not use any sort of glue.
But, as i see that your doorframe is not yet painted, when are you going to do that, do you have still a correct access or is this all only a test setting for the photosession?

Cheers

Claude
