I'm just starting work on the PZKW 35 T by CMK.
It looks like a nice little kit... Does anyone have some experience with the kit ?

here comes a question about the tank : what is the use of that big cylinder above the cannon ? Does it house a MG ? Or something completely different ?

Thanks guys !

Yes Geoff is correct it may be the recoil buffer (controls the speed and length the barrel recoils) but it may also be the recuperator (returns the barrel to the forward position after recoil).

Penpen,
I just finished the same kit. The suspension and tracks are a bit tricky. Take is slow and steady. No real problems that I recall. CMK makes 3 versions of the 35(t), One is a Skoda LT vz.35 with 3 Czech crew kit#T35023. one is a "Möserzugmittel 35(t)" munitions carrier kt #35021(this is also available as an upgraded kit with resin interior). And the PzKfw 35(t) you are building.kit #35006.
It is an interesting little kit and builds up nicely

Thank you guys ! So now I know that I don't have to make a hole at the tip of that cylinder...

I haven't got very far with the kit yet... I prepared and assembled the roadweels yesterday evening. And that was long...
