Does anyone know if the acrylic paint sets from Vallejo called "Panzer Aces" are available from any distrbutor or retail shop here in the USA? These paint sets have been advertised in the magazine Armor Models by Euro Modelismo for several months.
If they are not distribuited in the USA, does anyone know the corresponding Vallejo color by number. The Panzer sets are numbered 301 thru 308 in the 1st set and 309 thru 316 in the 2nd set. The regular Vallejo numbers are higher.
Thanks,

Here is Colorado Miniature's reply to my inquiry to them
"i've heard rumors about these sets, but never seen them. nor has my supplier ever listed them as available.
i don't know what the cross reference is between those "300" series customers and their regualr paints."
I'm still looking. I have sent an email to the publisher of the magizine Armor Models and asked them.
Thanks for any help I can get worldwide.

I just checked Vallejo's site, and they do not list a set called "Panzer Aces," however, they do have "Panzer colors." This is available from Military Miniatures Warehouse. Here's the page from his online catalog.

I have searched high and low for these colors as well. I saw them in Armor Models No. 7. Since then I have been on the lookout for them without success. In the ad, two sets are listed with numbers from 301 to 316 for the colors.
Set 1 is: Light rust, dark rust, yellowish rust, tracks primer, light rubber, dark rubber, German light red, and German light green.
Set 2 is: periscopes, old wood, new wood, leather belt, stencil, canvas, light mud, and dark mud.
Both sets are used to finish a Hetzer and they look great. I've had no luck with any search. The ad does list a phone number in Madrid.

Can anyone in Spain help out? I'd love to try these colors too.

Howzit Guys,
I'm the South African Distributer for the Mig range of products.
The "Panzer Aces" range of Vallejo paints are put together and distributed by a company called Euromodelismo. You would need to contact them for the 2 sets. They do not speak English at all, so you need to ask for their translater, a lady by the name of "Sara". Her English is very good and she is very helpfull. Their service in general is unfortunatley a little slow .
Regards the Filters, I think that you are refering to MIG's German set of 3 Filters (P-243). That you will be able to get from any dealer who sells the MIG productions range who are close to you. :-)
Hope that this helps,
Cheers

Graugrun, thanks for anticipating my reply. Here's a copy of the Advert which appears in the Spanish Magazine 'EuroModelismo':
As someone mentioned earlier, the coding of the colors is different from the normal range of colors. They are being offered thru Accíon Press who don't maintain any kind of viable website....Jim
