I need a Stug III Ausf G in 1/35 with the 75mm L/48 main gun. The only one I can find is Dragons version with the 10.5cm gun.
I've a 75mm L/48 gun I can swap out from an unbuilt Acadamy kit (Stug IV) but are there any other differenaces in the hull between the 75mm and the 105mm versions of the Ausf G? I can't see that there are.

Sim -
If I remember correctly, Dragon makes the Stug III 75/L48 (Kit #9014). There is also a Tamiya Stug III (Kit #35197) that has the 75/L48 with an option for the 105. That being the case, I'd think the two versions would be very close. I'd defer to more knowledgeable on German AFVs for better details on this. Also even if they are that similar and you planned on getting "extras" to convert 105 to 75/L48, I'd think that you could pick up the Dragon Stug III 75/L48 kit for about the same $$. Hope this helps some,

Sim, if you look in the box you will find it contains both the 105mm and 75mm barrels and mantlets.
