Well after coming out of the gate in a hurry, I slowed considerably on my duece.. Got back to in this past weekend and this evening.. The build is, for the most part finished. And now I have layed down a pile of OD... Here are a few progess pics of the under carriage and motor..
Gas tank and battery box.. Tried to replicate a fuel stain

Drivers side of the engine..Still need to wash the exhaust again..

And some more scratch work.. I added the heavy cables... Red to the starter and black to the engine block for a ground.. Used some telephone wire for that..

The red needs to be toned down.. I will make sure to hit that when I weather the undercarriage... All comments appreciated..

Nice -- I'm tracking your work so I can steal the ideas for mine ...

Only thing I noted was the silver "wear" on the U-joints. I think you are trying for a highlight effect, but it implies wear where none can occur .... and I'm specifically looking at the at the short shaft coming out of the transmission ...

Dave the inlet manifold and carburetter would be a silver/grey and not the blackish color you have them.

It is coming along nicely though.

Cheers

Steal all you like John.. I got a bit carried away I think.. :-) .. I decided to NOT put brake lines in....:-)....I may have over done the drybrush.. I can tone that down with some black or dark grey..
