Has anyone got the Humbrol mixes to make an authentic looking rifle stock ??
Or Tamiya or anything. I am having all sorts of troubles getting the right colour.
Cheers

Hi Alex.
Before I switched to oil's, I used a mix of Humbrol satin brown #133 and matt chocolate #98.
When painting with oil's I base coat with Humbrol dessert yellow #94 and then paint a thin layer of mixed burnt sienna and raw umber.

I use Tamia flat flesh and then wipe burnt umber oils
Any tan/yellow colour should work and the different oils will vary the type of wood.

Buff + Flesh then Burnt Umber or Raw Umber wash
Seems to work pretty good for me.
