Hi Guys

First ever post and feeling a bit thick.
But ~ what goes on the end of the cleaning rods when they are being used and where is it (whatever it is) kept.

Tiger in particular but info on anything German WWII would be good.

That would be a bore brush. Not sure what a Tiger's would look like. They look like a giant Q-tip (cotton bud in England).

I'm going to assume that the bore brush was stored inside the Tiger I because I've never seen one outside. Risky statement, I know.

The picture I remember seeing of the bore brush looked about as big in circumferance as the barrel. It looked like maybe 18"-24" long. And it does kinda look like a long Q-Tip.
