so Tigers and such had barrel cleaning rods,tigers have 6 pieces of rod which some how connect together,so i carnt under stand how these things worked was there some sort of mop or brush like a chimney sweeps brush added to the end of the rod to clean out the barrel.

also has anyone recieved the free barrel rods for signing up for the MDFC _Amour club,would like to know what there like?

silly questions but am curious

We had a brush for my M60a1 so I would assume they did as well for the Tiger. We had a group of poles we screwed together put an attachment on the end (There were more than one, but usually we just had a bore brush or a rag attachment) we would then angle the tube down and a couple of guys would run the poles up and down the barrel a couple of times. We used gun cleaning fluid same stuff as you did with the M16 rifles

Karl, they are made of brass, and look very similar to the plastic ones in the late Tiger kit. I got three of them selotaped to a small piece of cardboard. From end to end they are 29mm in lenght and have a small return on one end.
