ok first DAK StuGs..
Now I'd like to know if there are any German Staff car kits available in 1/35? I haven't noticed any in my LHS's or online... Did Tamiya do the Citroen hardtop they now offer in 1/48 in 1/35 once upon a time?
Thanks
Martyn

Hi Martyn
Now are you talking civillian style staff cars>Mercedes etc? I know that Italeri makes a Kfz.15 horch, and Tamiya makes a Horch also as well as the Steyr in two versions. These were used as command/staff vehicles.

Thanks guys,
Yes more the civilian cars, not so much the Steyr. Notice Tamiya lists their Horch as discontinued though the only one I could find was towing something... didn't look much past the discontinued sign.
I'll have to keep my eyes open for the Italeri model.

no cars yet unless you want to sink a lot of money into a resin one. We are hoping Tamiya will release the Citroen in 35th and someone might pop out one of those real fine Mercedes dual axle (now that is what I call a duelie-- :-)

If you are not on a budget, Wespe Models has released a few resin kits that may interest you, such as the Opel Kapitan :
or the Horch 830 :
You can find other Wespe Models cars (Opel Kadett, Olympia and Super 6, Mercedes 170V, Wanderer W23S...) on their website :
http://www.wespemodels.ro/ (the price list is at the bottom of the page, on the left )
Talking about the Traction Avant, here's one made by DesKit (Citroën traction avant légère 11BL , 1938/40 kit # 35064)

Andrea Miniatures has a model of Hitlers Staff car. I saw it on www.historexagents.com the other day. It looks good, but a bit too expensive for me.
Cheers
