There is a good article at the IMPS Finland site regarding Finnish Armour colours, included the modern splinter scheme.

Finnish T-54/55's did use the splinter scheme in the early '80's before they were modernized (and T-55M's after modernization), but you would have to check for correct hatch combinations/engine deck layout to be accurate.

Its a start. any english translation? Thanks guys.
Im planning to buy the tamiya T-55 and do it OTB. Since its the T55A, should I go with the Italeri T55A(M)?
I have also a DML BMP2 in Finn and I would like to compliment it with T-55.
Thanks for the inputs.

Tamiya's kit can be built as a T-55 with an AA mg, or T-55A with or without the mg. The only thing missing from a normal T-55 as used by Finns is that hatch w/o the MG mount.
I'm planning to build a finnish T-55 too. I already got tamiya's kit, model-kasten tracks, PE engine screens, roundel decals and pretty much everything except for that hatch...
Here's the mixing ratios for the modern splinter camos found on the IPMS Finland site (Here):
Modern Camo (pics 4 &5)
Dark Green AN11:
* 10 parts HU75
* 6 parts HU131
Light Green AN22:
* HU102
Brown AN33:
* HU170
Black AN44:
* HU33
The pics on the FDF site ( Here ) Show a T-55M which has different tracks and a whole bunch of modifications like smoke grenade launchers, AA MG, storage boxes etc. That looks like a major scratch-building project, although I remember that one company makes a resin conversion kit for Tamiya's kit. I remember I being quite expensive (around 70€).
