Hi all,
The Tamiya 1/35 kit had almost no problems of assembling. Just at the gun barrel I needed to use some putty. The main color I gave with humbroll #30 and then I made the white camouflage with Tamiya's acrilic white. After the paint has set I chipped the paint using a needle and some glass paper. Then I weathered the vehicle by washing with raw umber and burnt sienna..
Thanks...

Nicely white washed T34-85, good form on the gradual increase of dirt and mud as you move down towards the tracks. The only thing I would suggest, would be to add a dark (almost black) wash over the rear hull screens, then possibly drybrushed with a medium grey, to give that portion of the tank some 'depth'.

thanks for sharing,
Frank

Excellent job tank looks very realistic and extremely well weathered. I concur with Frank on the rear engine grills. A very diluted black to give them some depth then highlight (drybrush) a steel lightly over the grills and I think you'll have a show tank.

Great work on the weathering Atoplu. Your weathering technique turned out great, very realistic, specially with a contrast of a white winter camo with the muddy/rusty hull.

Kind regards.

I like it alot. I love the scratches, that's a technique I'll try sometime. However, I think you need to build up the weathering a little bit more on the front of the turret. The mud seems to stop very suddenly, and it's a big contrast. Try building it up very lightly in the circled area...

Ayhan

Good looking T34 here -- you've given this Russian tank a used and abused look---very very nice.

The only question would deal with the turret markings. Wouldn't the white wash have covered them up a bit? On the model, the red markings appear to be applied over the white wash, (not sure if it worked that way or not).

Anyway, congrats on a pretty cool looking model.

Looks good. I agree with David about the weathering of the turret. Still looks good though.

Wow this is one heavuly scratched up tank. One thing is for certant is that no one can say that you are lacking in skills when it comes to scratching your model. Great progress so far especially the rust application.
