Don't know if anyone else has the same problem:

When I submit a post today in a thread I get the following message after submitting:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /hsphere/local/home/armorama/armorama.net/modules/SquawkBox/common.php on line 297

I can't go further at that point: I have to go to the homepage and than back to the forumthread. The post is added to the forum just as well.
It happened today 3 times, and on 2 different pc's (my work and home)

I got similar mssg when trying to bring the site up on my devil box.I'm pretty sure it's a 'traffic jam'.Servers not able to handle the inrush of traffic. I guess we be popular now.

This and login problems are (IMHO) probably related to Jim working on the site to make it better for a large number of members at one time. Be patient and it should be resolved shortly.

getting the same thing here in Oz. I have found that by hitting the back button then waiting a couple of minutes and trying again I get through. Annoying though but Staff Jim will get it fixed as soon as he can.

Cheers
Cliff

PS> this has only happened to me since the latest server shift.

I get it almost every time after replying to a post. I posted a thread over in the User Support forum about the problem this morning. It's aggravating but if it's due to ongoing improvements, I can live with it.

Jim

I'm getting them when I try to enter the site or sometimes when I hit a thread I'm trying to read from the latest posts page.

Jim, I'm getting the error message (the one mentioned in the first post of this thread) right after I reply a post on a forum I'm subscribed on.

Jim,

I seem to have gotten them after posting on a "subscribed" thread. I want to say I get the message on those I'm NOT subscribed to too, but not positive. Happened only once to me today/tonight. I hit the back button and refresh and there's my post.

Gray screen of death.......
