I'm seeking info on a Cromwell conversion kit for this prototype vehicle. It is a special purpose full track chassis that carried the Flak37 and later the Flak 41. Has anyone built this kit or know of an online build? I've done the usual searches and came up empty. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Don M. Clarksville, TN.

Vance, I have been unable to find a lot on ths vehicle. Many years ago I had a ROCO Minitank 1/87th scale replica of this self propelled 88. I have the book that John mentioned as well as other books that have pretty much the same pics. Evidently there were not a lot of photos taken of this. I remember when the Cromwell conversion kit came out , but with a price tag of over $100, it was out of reach. There was one on ebay seveal weeks ago and it went for $175.00!! I was hoping to find an online build to see if this conversion set was worth the hefty price. No luck there either. This is one of my favorite German WW II vehicles, mainly because it is unique, and only produced as a prototype. If I come across more info or the conversion kit, I'll let you Know. Thanks for the responce. Don M. Clarksville, TN.
