Does anyone have any reference on the battle of the bulge Jagdpanthers. I'm looking for info on the rear deck (model type) and if they sported a similar camo scheme to the King Tigers (hard edge three tone)....

thanks in advance,

Frank

I think the Modeling Jagdpanzers by MMSI has a late Jagdpanther from the Bulge in it. I will need to check to make sure.

Frank -

One of the largest concentrations of JagdPanthers was during the "Bulge" with one of the units sPz-Jaeg Abt 559 with the Panzer Lehr Division. There are a couple photos in Concord Publication's "Panzers of the Ardennes Offensive 1944-45" and a color plate. Most JagdPanthers noted were later versions it seems without "zimmerit" and finished in red oxide primer with camo of dunkelgelb and olive green applied in irregular lines. I would think it very likely that JagdPanthers from after Sep/Oct 44 could have the 3 color scheme. Hope this helps some,
