The only Hybrid tiger-I I know of came from the Gruppe Fermann. They had early turrets and mid or late pro hulls. The tactical numbers are prefixed with "F".

Arvin's guess is right on the money. Hasegawa is producing a 1/72 kit of the one-off Kampfgruppe Ferhmann Tiger I.

It's very unusual in that it had an early turret w/drum cupola yet a layer of zimmerit over it and a later production steel roadwheels.

If I recall, its zimmerit was very chipped and it didn't have side skirting (like the box art shows)

Darren,

To further give you an idea on what they schemes are go here http://pachome1.pacific.net.sg/~kriegsketten/AXT351008.htm . I'm not sure if its the gospel truth but, as far as color scheme this is the only ones that I've seen.

Hope this helps

JMHO, but... unless you absolutely have to have this just to have this, you'd be better off cross-kitting a pair of RoG Tiger Is, or maybe a RoG Early with a DML Late.

The Hase Tiger I kits are poor compared to RoG or DML Tigers no matter how they mix their parts.
