Looks pretty good so far.
Is the road muddy? If so, you might want to add some gloss to it. I really like the tank in the water but I the quetion arises, where the missing track?

Pretty nice so far. I like the grass and groundwork overall. I need more definition in "why" the panzer is in the water, did it slide in off a muddy road or make a bad turn? Maybe some ruts in the road.
The right side road wheel on the Panther 1/2 way back is riding a bit above the ground.

I have the same questions as above plus the question of would it have been possible timewise for the Panther and t(38) to be seen together?Matters only if accuracy is a goal.Art -wise,this is going very well.
Keep going and show us more!
cheers!

It looks like there is grass growing in the turret of the (t)38... that would solve the meeting of (t)38 and Panther.
As the Panther is on fire, and the co-driver seems to have an argument which he means to settle with the MP-40, I think there should be some sort of impact damage to account for the engine fire.
What did you use for your water, that looks really good. If the (t)38 has been in the water for that long ( grass in turret) I think there should be more rust present. But the quality of the pic may have hidden that if it's already there.
good stuff
Cheers

More rust on the little tank and battle damage. Everything else looks great.

I agree with the weathering of the tank in the water. Where the edge of the water touches the tank, you could add more rust, and some waterplants, lichens sort of things would add a lot to the realism. After all, it appears that this tank is in the water a looong time. Maybe some vertical rust and dust streaks, to simulate places where rain ran down after the tank broke down, would be nice. These streaks would be in an angle compared to the vertical lines of the tank, which would add a lot of realism. Just an idea
Also, it's quite odd that there's only grass growing in the turret, you can add some sort of small growth on other places of the tank, like muddy places, crevices,... Maybe that would be over the top, don't know.
Smoke is something I generally don't like in modelling, it hardly ever looks realistic. Your smoke is quite good, one of the better attempts I've seen on the net so far.
The water is awesome, and the weathering on the Panther is very good indeed.
This dio has a lot of potential, keep us updated!

At first, I thought the "smoke" was shrubbery behind the panther and I didn't notice the MP40 in the driver's hands. That becomes problematic unless he's taking direct fire preventing him from exiting.

Its a nice composition. It looks calm and quiet, but not when I saw the smoke behind the Panther. I've got no experience in making smoke or fire on models, so I'm looking forward to see the result.
I like the 38(t) in the water. I believe it has been there for 4-5 years, so I find the rust as it is now appropriate...or? I'm no expert on that field anyway.
In all: A promising start and I'm interested in following this one.

ahh like it A Lot-very nice. Beats me out of the water (no pun intended) by all means.
I agree on the rust on the (t)38.. a bit more and streaking down would be good if the tank has been there long enough for the grass to grow on it.
Smoke is excellent (I missed it on the first view as well but after looking again I can clearly distinguish it), very good as that is the hardest thing to ever try to replicate... at least thats what I'm hearing (I'm no expert).
For the water, love the clarity of the view but the only thing that looked a bit out of place is the water gathering around the road wheels of the tank-it appears like a little bubble etc (I belive from the water shrinkage-was it the railroad scenic water? I know that one shrinks)... Since the water is still... maybe add a bit of a wave to it or some motion using either "Water Effects" by Woodland Scenics or just a touch of white glue (dries failry clear but wont be as nice as your water right now). Right now it feels a little placid but that is my opinion and your ulitmate goal may be different.

Hi Erik,
Nice work thus far. I'm with the guys on how you're going to tie up the story between the 2 tanks. But since its not all done yet it may be a bit hard to comment further.
My only tiny nitpick is the tall grass. Its not only yours but I've seen it in a lot of dios as well. Tall grass grows with the tallest leaves usually in the middle and the surrounding leaves being older tend to droop down giving and overall 'pyramid' or cone effect. 2 ways to simulate this effect is to press the surrounding leaves down or to trim the surrounding leaves a bit to give an overall cone effect. Otherwise the flat top appearance where all the leaves are the same height and especially when planted in isolated clumps make tall grass a bit unrealistic. Again a small nitpick of mine coz I find it a pity considering the effort put into the models in other dios only to have the grass look like it was planted.
The other suggestion which may be of more use to you is to add a bit of contrast to your eroded stream bank to bring out a bit or the eroded sides.
Its coming along well and I especially like the submerged rocks in the stream bed. Looking forward to seeing it all done.
