Hello,
This is my latest build and I would like to hear some cmoments about it.
This will be in autumn style and I hope you will like the pose.
I have add some texture to the hull and turret.
Hope you'll like it!!
Still I haven't finished the base, I have to paint it, and as I said before I want to make an autunm diorama from it so I will add mushrooms, and red brown colored leaves. The tank will be in some hard edge camo pattern.

I really like the layout, big tank, little base. What ever you used for the trees are great. Looking forward to seeing more.

looks very nice so far. is the tree stump self-made?
maybe you can add a few more traces from the king tiger's tracks. if such heavy beast rolls over the ground there have to be marks.
keep us posted.

Heeyz,
Somebody else did the tree stump. It was made with kind of plaster. I did make track traces, but I will look about that, also I see some little spots I missed with the foliage.
Thanks for the comments!!

It will be interesting to see how that camo job will break up the shape of the tank from the front view.

Hey hilbert, do me a big favor. add those indy tracks before putting any of hte side skirts on thats the terrible mistake i made and decided to ripem off. so now my tiger if trackless on a shelf and i might put it on a tank transporter( allied) since i found some nice ref pics.
The ground work looks great, can't wait to see your hard edge camo

Familiar Tree stump Hilbert... I wonder where those from :-) :-)
It is already good looking but I have one point and that's about the size of the dio base. I think it is a little bit too small. When you look on the photo where you show the top of the vehicle you can see that the tank (in my opinion) is a bit too large for the base. You can change it to re-position it into a straight line of the edges. It is less dynamic but the tank won't go over the edges.
I'm really looking forward to the end-result so keep us updated!!

Hilbert
Great job on the "Big Cat", comes out clean and good details. Really like the contrast with it's size to the base. The groundwork texturing also looks excellent. Remember to add the power connection wire to the headlight. Please keep us updated on this.

Hilbert, WOW this is great! I think you should add a little more churned earth where the tracks will be, then add a little leaves in the tracks to show it has been sitting a while. Fantastic Cat, And fantastic ground work so far. I look forward to seeing your camo This is looking just like the reference pic you showed to me. You are going to use friuls on this? Have you started them yet? Cheers Kevin

Heeyz,
Jurjen, Yup the tree stump is familiar he??
Ow and your opinion about the dio size? That was my plan to let the tank go over the edges. I want to try something new.
The tracks and the cable will be done!!
Ps this is the reference picture I use

Thanks. I hope this will be a nice do..
I don't think there will be any figure in it, but I will add a lot of details.

Hi Hilbert:
Something that I noticed was the roadwheel pushed up on the right side. I don't know if it's been fixed there but unless you had the track over a rock, the suspension usually flattened whatever they ran over -- they were efficient at distributing the weight of the tank over all the roadwheels. Although able to move upwards, it would have to be something rather firm (like a large stone). Hope this helps.

Thanks for the comments. No I didn't noticed that but there will be friuls on it so I think it will be good if the tracks are on.
