OK, here some pic's of the progres on the 1:35 K5 dio.
It's 100 cm long and covered with Busch grasspaper as undergound. Over that came Woodland Scenics poly fiber, followed by layer of paint, followed by a spraylayer of glue and sprinkled over with three sorts of blends from Woodland Scenics.
The stones are in 2 different sizes and I bought them at IKEA (normally used for glas veses with candles)!!!

This was how it looked before (december 2005).

This is yesterday evening. The light green is the BUSH gras, the darker is the fiber from Woodland.

This is now. Track is still shining because it's wet.:

Tomorrow, the K5 and the dio will meet finally!!!!!!

Hi Paul, did you use the Trumpeter or Dragon K5 kit? Looks great by the way, will you be putting more vehicles on the dirt road?

Hey Dave!

Thanks!
It's the Trumpeter beast.
I'm building it together with 043 (Eric).

On the road is gonna be a little jeep and four canadians anre examening the thing (based on pictures from liberation of the Netherlands)

Paul, that is going to be impressive when you're done. I can't wait to see the finished product. Your gravel bed looks much better than the one included in the kit.

He said it's 100cm
The gun itself is about 96cm, if I remember correctly.
