Are there any other besides the Verlinden & CM kits???? I'm looking for something a bit more modern????

Well, to be honest, it is still common to see those older ones in shops today. Sure there are a lot of more modern ones, but unless you want to scratch one, then you are going to have to settle. You can always scratch a back shield and a digital readout for the old mills and lathes to bring them up to date.

*EDIT* I just looked up CMK's tools and their lathe is a more modern one, it shows a digital display.

Although they are easily scratchbuilt, there was a time when I had no time. There's a Snap-tite kit of a NASCAR tractor trailer combo in 1/32 with several machine tools in it. I bought three of them once at a Dollar General for a ridiculously low price. Kits like these also show up a lot at the toy store at those factory outlet malls.
