My wife complains of dried acrylic (MM acryl) paint spots on linoleum floor. Acryl dried paint solvant works well but is very expensive, are thier alternates?

Acetone or Acetone nail polish remover will clean-up acrylic paint. Not sure what it will do to Linoleum though, I'd test it first in an unseen spot.

Other alternatives are:
a) put some newspaper down.
b) put some canvas down and create a replica Jackson Pollock as a by-product.
c) stop spilling it.
d) replace your lino with carpet patterned after the three-tone ambush camouflage pattern circa 1943.
e) divorce.
f) serious this one - have you tried removing the spots with a scalpel blade?

You could try using some dishwashing liquid and wiping it off with a cloth. Works like a charm everytime!!
