A new perspective and great inspiration from this book. If you are going to build a D-Day diorama or a northern France diorama - this book will add realizm and credibitily to your project.

Agreed! This looks to be an informative book; good to get in your head just what defenses (per beach) the landings parties were up against... Would be interesting to build a dio up over the cliffs and showing the interior just beyond the fortifications

This does look like a very good book. I've several of Zaloga's books and I've found them to be very usefull. This looks like something that will probably be put into my library.
