Wow, Andy...
Beautiful job, mate! I am waiting in anticipation for maybe a feature article on this build?

...it would make for a really good read. Thanks for the inspiration!

Nice work Andy, I like the ekstra details you have added on the outside, and that you have redone the interior to the correct early look. great job.
Only little nicpick would be, that the interior don´t look as used as the outside.
It´s happy days for modellers...

Hi Andy,
By far, the finest T-34 I've ever seen! Your use of metalizers on the engine/tranny is flawless and realistic. Great work, inside and out. I'm assuming this is Trumpeter's big scale offering?
P.S. you're going to scare away the competition! :-)

Impressive to say the least.
What scale is that as it looks pretty big? Does the interior come with the kit?
As you said you feel as though you could,"drive a 34, fire the gun and strip the engine", it looks like you could do it in your T-34. Great build and looking forward to an article about this.
Andy

I saw this last week in MK and it looks even better in the flesh. It's one of those models where you keep coming back to have a look, and you keep finding new bits of detail... and it only took him 4 months..
Great stuff.
cheers

WOW!! Great job Andy, I think I will wait till next month to enter my kit. You really did an outstanding job on this, great attention to detail. I really like the turret stand too. Good luck with the MOM.

Wow, great work!
How much of the interior did you scratchbuild, and how big is this kit (lengh and width of the body) is it much bigger than 1:35?
Cheers!

Thanks for the comments guys,
Frank..it's approx 15" (375mm) long and 7 1/2" (190mm) wide (The wee 34's my sons first build 1/35)

Lots of stuff was added ,the firewall, and open ammo box were scatchbuilt as was the turret PTO, the MG racks were modded to fit between the seats

Redleg.. the seats were the kit ones with milliput added for the padding and brass rod for the rear support rail ,the arm rests were modded to suit and to get the MG rack to fit
There are more pics in my gallery

Rob ,Heres a better pic of the turret ammo racks

The kit parts are meant for the 85 model not the 42,I enclosed a "three rack" in some plastic card and added some spring clips to the top with some scrap PE sprue, and a few brackets and bolts ,job done

What scale is that beast? It's fantastic! Looks pretty good size judging by the table it's sitting on. I can't wait to see all the details in a write up!

Hi Andy,
nice to see some pics of your wonderful model.
I would like to know what you used for the cabling. It looks very realistic.
And can we have an in-depth article soon please. And thanks for all your help with my kit too
cheers
