Wow, am I dreaming?

Wow! If this is true it will be a huge deal as its one of the kits on many modelers most wanted lists.
I wonder if they had to pay licensing fees to do this kit?
Very cool and it doesn't suprise me that Trumpeter is doing one. I wonder if any other manufactures are going to be releasing a version also?

It is true unless Trumpeter changes its mind, though I doubt it since they apparently decided to let the cat out of the bag.
I do not know anymore that what is posted (though I have a picture but couldn't get it to post) - I just copied the text of the email and posted it here.

Great News Gordon. Will have to get my hands on a few of these when they get out.
But " 2nd Half of 2006", that means anytime from July to December. Guess we will just have to wait and see.
Anyways, its good to see Trumpeter still doing the odd, but important, vehicles that some other big name companies have still yet to do.

I can just picture an OIF diorama right now. Academy OIF M2A2 in the front, Stryker in the middle and Dragon M1A1 AIM in the background somewhere... If they all come out in 2006, I may have to pick 2006 as the best year for modern US modelers (assuming they are all quite accurate). Gosh, aren't we, modern U.S. armor modelers, spoiled! It is soooo surprising that Stryker is coming out this quickly while WWII US modelers have been crying for M3 half-track for 20+ years. $25 is a deal, too! Thank God and no complaints here.

with all the modern AFVs and MBTs coming these year. what we need is something bigger... a MODERN(US/civilian or any) tank transporter to carry all this. the resin kinds are rare from where i am and expensive too. i think this will fall on the wishlist section. thanks.
yes the stryker would be nice for my collection.

woooooo! Nice one Trumpeter. I cant wait for this release. I shall buy several for sure, add RPG screens and no doubt a scratchbuilt inteior just for fun. I can see plenty of OID dioramas with Blasts excellent army figures.
I wonder what else Trumpeter has up their sleeves? How about some Iraqi armor-MTLB? Whatever happens the stryker will be well recieved.
