Hi all, sorry if this should be posted to the painting forum but I have a question for you please.
I am building Tamiya's Panther Ausf. G Late and want to do it in a tri color hard edge scheme. I am thinking of trying to mask it with Tamiya tape, but if anyone has any better solutions or could point me in the direction of a post describing a technique for this scheme I would really appreciate it.
Cheers
Darren

Hi Darren ...If I were you I'd try to find some silly putty ...it's a lot easier than tape ..and works great ...

Hey Darren,
i would suggest you ditch the tape idea and go with silly putty/blu tac. I have tried the blu-tac approach and it is very good, easy to work with and will, if left for half an hour before painting, "sink" around all the detail and provide a very good har edged camo. As an example please have a look at my July '45 Tiger 2. The hard edged scheme is done using blu-tac.
