Hi Guys!

Finally finished the Trumpeter's KV1 Simpified Turret. I really had hard times to get the photos right. I tuly envy the people with decent cameras

Anyway, this is my submission. The kit is build out of the box except for the spare tracks on the fenders, those are from Friul.

Hope you like it!

Cheers guys! and girls offcourse

Excellent entry Jurjen! And the Russian 'Armorama' finishes it off just right! Good luck mate!

Very impressive KV-1 It looks like it's seen some action How did you get the decals on the turret to look faded?

Hi, very beaty one!! I'm amazed by the weathering!! Looks really cool to me.
The marking on the turret should really be 3a Apmopamy , but this is a great idea anyway

Hi, Excellent work. The weathering is simply fantastic. Great stuff. Those tracks are as close to 'real' as one can get I'm thinking. And it doesn't get any better than that in this hobby.

Take care, Larry

Yoooos

@ Vinnie and Shain: Thanks! I'm glad you like it

@ Chad: Well in the beginning of the weathering progress they were very bright but due to the washes and pigments they became very faded. It happens very fast with a white colour

@ Paul: Thanks!

@ Michal: Serieus mate? whahaha lol, I will keep it in mind for the next time! Thanks.

@ Larry: Thanks for the positive feedback!

Fortunately I have the KV Mod 1942 Heavy Cast Turret still on my shelves. I'm planning to do a winterized version of it. Curious how that will turn out

Cheers!
