Sorry to post more Nuremberg stuff! Just been looking at photos from the show and theres a few of the Academy M2A2.

To be honest it doesnt look too amazing, I wont be too judgemental becuase onbviously noone has the kit in their hands but the parts look pretty basic and it doesnt looks as if they have had any more details than Tamiya, the only thing I can see is that it looks like they have broken the kit down more with those individual tie loops on the side armor plate and lots of other stuff. It does say the parts are only test pieces but still it looks a bit basic-we shall have to wait and see.
The AFV club centurion looks damn fine however, and it looks to be an interesting year for armor.

I'm not too impressed by Academy M2A2 either. What do you Bradley experts think?

It looks like it has some details that have been overlooked by Tamyia though.

Here is what I can see based on the wealth of reference photos in Concord Publication's Mini Color Series # 7506 M2A2/M3A3 Bradley:

(+)The side skirts appear to have the new beveled style mounting brackets

(-)But looks like it has the old 3 bolt pattern as opposed to the new 9 bolt pattern for mounting the skirts.

(+)The separate wire loops for the skirts that you mentioned already

(-)The drive sprokets still appear to be wrong.

(+)It has the wire guides for the driver's hatch

(+)Has the flat spots on the upper grill

(+)Has the additional towing mounts for the final drive

(+)Has the new style "V" shaped armor plate for the TC's side of the turret

(+)The front armor plate (both upper and lower hull)appears to be correct for a new manufacture ODS Bradley

(-)Side armor plates still has the upper rear notches for the swim barrier

(-)Still appears to have the molded "bump" for the swim barrier around the sides and rear of the upper hull.

But since this is a test shot (as the disclaimer says) there will be more changes made and hopefully it will blow Tamyia's overpriced rebox of a rebox away

Well, if this is how the kit will look like, then Academy will give me the opportunity to write another "Sheridan-style" review. With similar conclusion...
But of course final parts may be very different from these test shots.

Whoa! Finally a Stryker! That would be something to look forward to.

From what I can see from the available pics, it has stuff that Tamyia doesn't have........But we won't know for sure until it comes out
