Looks like Accurate Armour has finally released the promised M41 Dk1 conversion.
Accurate Armour M41 Dk1 conversion
Since it involves quite a bit of resin, does anyone think it would be feasible to use the Tamiya M41 kit as a cheap base? Are the dimensions that different from the Skybow kit?

Paul go with the combi-kit. AA has the SB M-41 for 8 quid. Combi kit option would only add maybe $12-15. to the total cost of the coversion.

I agree with Graeme.
The combi-kit is the way to go. Everything that I have found out about the Tamiya kit, AFV Club kit, and the Skybow kit say that the Skybow kit is the way to go....although with the combi-kit it does not appear that the Skybow turret is included in the kit
Maybe add some PE from the Eduard set for the M41 and the metal Fruil tracks and this will be great....I am not a fan of the molded full turret stowage baskets, but those can be scratchbuilt...or just cover them in cam nets as commonly seen on the M41 DK1.
I will shortly have mine on the way too.

I ordered the Combi kit myself...with shipping it was $98.
I had a Skybow M41, but I built it and its a great kit..so I'm looking forward to this conversion.
