Hey Bob;
I'm no rivet counter but it has been reported that it's not really 1/15th scale, but closer to 1/20th. I have it and the kit needs a lot of work ... especially with the turret with seams that don't match, molded in items that should be sanded off and filled in and no suspension to top off the list.
It's basically a toy that was once motorized for it doesn't even have true drive sprockets or the exact treads. But for the price and if you want a real project go for it! I haven't finished mine yet.
But if you just want a display tank, get the 21st Century M41 like TANKDUEL and I have. It looks like a Bulldog.

I bought one in the 90s when Glencoe reissued the old ITC Battling Betty M41. The kit was a motorized toy and is way past its prime. The kit includes a superb decal sheet with about a dozen different national markings (basically every vehicle depicted in the Squadron Signal book). The kit is not worth putting the decals on.

I forgot about the decal sheet.
They would look cool on some Allied Sherman/Pershing 1/16th scale Tamiya's even if it wasn't correct for that tank.

Thanks for the valued input..I may try it anyway...I like a good challenge. Add to that I'm an RC airplane person too...motors, shocks and gears I got. The price is cheap enough...maybe a stepping stone to a real 1:16 scale tank with individual links.
