During the vietnam war Australia layed a massive minefield towards the start of there involvement hopeing to contain the movements of the vietcong
The shifty cong lifted dozens of these mines and used them to good effect on the allies.
Orders came down to remove this minefield and the aussies had to come up with a quick fix to this solution to which follows.
The use of an M113A1 with a mod off to one side acting as a mine roller
was developed and had great succes in detonating most mines and in conjunction with heavily protected dozers cleared hundreds of these dangerous crittas.
3 M113's were used for this task named Flint, George & Steele with the HM being Her Majesty.
The reason for this short story is to ask has anyone built this mod onto one of there kits and does anyone have more ref pics.
I intend to build this interesting mod soon so any help most welcome as these are the only pics I have been able to find.
