Really a tough choice...... Which one. T55 or T34. What will be your choice.

I'd normally say go for the T-55, but I see you have the Eduard PE set and I'm a firm believer that you should keep it simple for a group build and just go OOB. So, I'd use the T-34 OOB.

Congradulation Steve Keegan for your 2000th Post.

Thanks all

I better keep it simple and go for T34 (Russian) With Eduard and Fruel Tracks the T55 may be too hectic. I want to enjoy every minute of the group build so leaning towards T34.

Hope I am not alone. How many are planning to build T34 by the way?

Have a Great Day

Either one would be great but I would do the 55 since it would be pure Russian. The 34 has the German cuppola

Hi Alan
Correct me If i am wrong. But I think the T34-76 comes with both the russian as well as the German version. I am planing to build the russian version for the group build since it is RUSSIAN GROUP BUILD. :-) :-)

JM: No worries. T55 will be not far behind
It is tough keep my hands off it too long

T-34 gets my vote.

And yes, you can build a standard T-34 with this kit and use the Cupola for another project.

If you end up building the T-55, let me know how you get on as that tank is really picking up my interest.

Hi Jacques, checked out your article on T80 at Minnesota Military Figure Society. Great work. You made me postpone my tigers and bought another T72. Trying to get some info on indian markings etc. Probably will start soon after the T34 and the T55.

Jeremy, Yeah, sure I will keep you posted. I have collected enough T55 pics from the web. But decided on T34. After reading through the Osprey T55 book I realised that I am not yet ready to start such an ambious project.

Have a Great Day

The best source of Indian markings would be the concord book on the T-72 and T-90. If you search the web, I am sure you can find some more free stuff, like here:

Not the funky cammo, but still...
