I apologize to everyone for the recent site outage on Friday and Saturday. Apparently something that Interland changed while updating our account software. I took me several hours but I finally discovered the culprit, our FRONT GATE side-block. This is why it's no longer there. I was affraid as the site grew this might cause too much interaction with the MySQL database, and it appears it was. I will look at trying to find a solution that works, but until then we may have to resort to the "members" area to see who is actively online.... Uhhh... scratch that. Apparently whatever they changed it affecting that page too. YIKES! I will really have to investigate this further.

Thanks,
Jim

I thought Osprey bought the site then shut it down or something!!

I went without my Armorama fix for 24 hours!!

Is this a sign that there is a lot of traffic on the site?

I'm glad to know it was a system wide problem. I was going nuts thinking about all of the good stuff I was missing. At least since everybody else was locked out too, I didn't miss anything new.

I keep seeing this error too. They only happen in some forums though. A quick restart might clear things up but I know we guys can't live even for an hour without Armorama . Let's just hope the GIBs can fix this one

Same here Jim!!

I thought for a second that my Unreal Tournament Tactical Ops playing son quelched all of the available virtual mem in our machine. I re-booted but the same problem(s) existed, although my hook up time got considerably better...

I've been getting the same type of errors. Sometimes requiring a complete exit from the site and re-entering once again. Can't be "old" files in my computer, I just bought a new one.

After not seeing any errors for 24-48 hrs and now seeing them again, and because the site is not exactly over-taxed user wise, I am more inclined to think these are temporary problems on Interlands part and must be do to high-level server issues that I have no control over. So... I hope they get it back to being more stabilized. If not then as I have said I will be looking for new hosting come the new year.

Cheers,
Jim
