I will shortly be posting an article (hooray!) by CrisMag on his 1/72 street ruins diorama (WWII Germany). As usual if you have feedback or comments about this feature story please leave it here.

On to the Front! in 1/72 Scale

Thanks Cris! Sorry for the delay in posting it.

WOW.....its 3am here right now and this amazing diorama just made my eyes jump out of my skull

The attention to detail is amazing, I specially liked the buildings and the aircrfat wreck.....that wing sticking out of the water is just genial. Great job Cris!

Magnificent.
However the explaination for making the building is too simple. I tried to do with styro but the results is not good.

Nice concept for the dio, however one point..... I think that if an aircraft went into a city like this, there wouldnt be much left. Just a thought. Looks pretty good overall. Keep at it. "Q"

Truly inspirational!! Hats off!

Actually one of the reasons I have taken a serious look at going over to 1/72. It doesn't take much room. I've been out of the hobby for awhile, one of the reasons for this is not knowing what to do with the finished products. Its easy to have a wall of 1/72 subjects...

Thanks for sharing your talent.

I agree there the dio is great but the plane is a good idea but spoile a bit the realism of the dio sometimes it is better not to over do it . Anyway the dio is great congratulation

yeah cris this is a great dio....i love how all the colors match...there isnt a tank which looks too bright for the scene. it looks as if the lighting is overcast and it just looks great...i think the bricks on the buildings look a little bit big and i also say the plane would be more damaged coming in at an angle like that, but i also agree that it does create a neat subject because u rarely see planes and armor together. but 1/72 lets you!! great work cris i wanna see more of ur future military dios!!
cheers ian
