So the well is gone - I agree with you guys. Wasn't quite right.
So I was looking at a visual divider to keep peoples eyes forward and to give and indication of more off to the left. Sooo, I didn't want a massive build of a row house type of thing so how about a low wall....

Oh boy I was waiting for this - EXcellent solution but don't leave the wall at a 90 degree angle, curve it a little. - hey man it's your own rule and you happen to be right !
I like the build man, good job, how nice is the mud bldg., for expediency reasons I'd like to use it as in previous discussed manner.

LOL - Rules rules -gotta love'em
The VP kit is #1825.
It's quick easy - well molded - I haven't shown any images of the back It could be a 360 kit with a bit of work. The back sides of the pieces are typical flat resin from a one piece mold. It wouldn't take much to texturize them. If you're only doing a 3/4 viewing them its a no brainer.

The wall is a great touch. It fits the atmosphere well. The well didn't quite fit, but this nails your purpose. It fills what might otherwise be empty space, and gives the idea that there is something to the left, not just barren sand. The only trick now is blending it into the base properly, but I'm sure you'll manage it. Keep us posted

I'll have to say Scott you're spot on with the wall. What really caught my eye though was the color of the stall cover. The stripey red will really draw the viewer attention to the well done Arabs. The Arabs being annoyed really grabs the scene.
Any chance you can stick in a vase or pot or two near the wall to give it the 'live-in' feel. Not critical though.
I maybe wrong but is that a mango on your fruit stall. If it is then that's really detail. Really looking forward to see it done.

CK - Thanks - I chose the color to play off the color of the pinkie. The stand has some fruits and breads on it and spilled on the ground.
Lets see - google search arab vases..... hmmm here I go - sculpy time.
Thanks

The bricks are made using casting resin and Kancali's molds

Now is better, but I think that this wall need a bit more of heigth, may be until top of the wooden barrel.and this bricks need a bit of weatering with sand paper smoot all corners in my opinion are too sharp

The wall will turn out to be knee high once the figures are on the ground. I'll try some out and see, I have to try!
Thanks again for the advice

Scott, Love the wall. As the others have said its a marked improvment. This is going to be a very sweet scene. Mary has seen your "Pink Panther" now and she wants one!!! cheers Kevin
