I don't remember who originally asked, but the parent unit for CPT Sean Bannon's tanks from Team Yankee was 1st BN, 4th Armor. They were cross attached to 1st BN, 78th Infantry. I can't tell for sure, but when I plan on making my M-1, the division will be the 25th Armored Division.
Thus the tank markings will read:
25@[email protected]
(the @ represent the triangle symbol used by the US Army to indicate Armor)
Hope this helps!

Are you going to put on the German-style kill markings on the gun tube?

Yeah...I'll have to reread that part to figure out how many CPT Bannon had! Thanks for reminding me!

Spooky.

I made 2 M1A1s about 13 years ago. 1 was '66', the other was either '31' or '34' I can't remember.

I was trying to do an up to date Team Yankee. Im thinking of doing the same thing again only with a M1A2.

Ive started a forum post entitled TEAM YANKEE / FIST because I had a few questions on bringing the equipment up to date.

Please join in.
