I have already roughed in an interior of the drivers compartment and added the battery box from a verlinden set that Brent Sauer gave me (Thanks, Brent). I am starting to ad in the rest of the hull bulkheads and will be starting the detailing soon. I have gotten a bunch of pictures from Brents books and might have the opportunity to go down and photograph a real Abrams sometime in the next month or so. Special requests might be taken, if your nice to me. How is everyone else doing? I hope someone has the opportunity to check out Legends accessory for the M1. I am wondering how it is.

I sure am missing something here.....I didn't know there was a student group build going on. I am a student too dudes..... What are the rules for this (begin date, end date, is this a campaign, contest...etc)?

Depending on the dates I will be able to join also. I'll either build a Trumps M1A1 Abrams or an Italeri Crusader Mk.II.

Cheers,

So, we are allowed right? And if so, please remind us again of the starting date. I may want to give the Pz IV D or an Pz IV F1 converted to an Pz IV F2 a shot.

I wasn't aware that elderly people (Dave) were allowed in the student group build. If he does somehow get in, he should be made to build an allied vehicle. Sorry General

Younger generation nowadays has no respect to elderlies!

Okay, if I decided to get in, I will do an allied stuff. (though you know it's boring)

Ok......I am in! I will build the Italeri Crusader Mk.II. I should be able to start building right after X-MAS. This will be the first British tank I ever put together.

I'm still in... with an Abrams.

Will have to buy it myself though... I'm pretty sure I won't be getting any models for Christmas this year. However - I did notice a decent sized box from MicroMark on our front porch the other day. :-)

Okay I will do either a valentine or a crusader then? By the way, are we allowed to do a destoryed AFV? because this will get over my not-building-AFRIKA-KORP guilt. #:-)

And as a General, are you sure I cannot be cutted some slack and let me do a German one?
