Good review, my friend!
I particularly like the inclusion of the signage in these kits...an added little "bonus", if you will. As Henk has said, these building kits offer the dio modeler something more than just the two sided corner style buildings currently offered. Definitely worth a second look, I do believe...even though construction is of vacu-form, the pieces do fit well, but a little experience with this type of modeling does help. Thanks for a good review!

A very nice review.
I agree, being a vac-u-form product, it opens new doors for those that have never tried one. The plastic is rather thick, and strong, and being a building, perfect sanding and alignment of seams isn't a major project, since you can always camouflage you boo-boos with rubble.

If you want to build a house of the Hungarian countryside, do not use the "Pilvax Kávéház" sign, as this is a very famous café in Budapest, that exists even today. Apart from looking completely differently, the original building was never shot apart
like the house this model depicts. The kit seems to be appropriate for building any Central-European looking house.
The other signs are OK:

Good Review.

I have purchased a vacuformed building (cheap one off the net). But I cheated, I use the vacum form building as a template and a bit of building on the vacum form building I turned it into a template and use it to pour plaster of paris in and then you can reproduce the buildings (only) a few times. But it may not always work, if the vacum form building is a thick plastic it probably won't work.

If you are interested, the signs
1,2,3,11 are shoemakers signs
8, 10, 13 are cafés
4, 5 are coffee warehouse signs, and
9 is a pub (wine- and beerhouse).
The others are quite straightforwardly house numbers.
Only if you want to build the appropriate interiors.
again.
