I have some MV lenses for some lights (duh) which are slightly too big. How can I trim them down without damaging the lenses.

I've never used those lenses, so I don't know what they're made of. If plastic and you must trim them down, you'll have to sand and then polish them out. I'm assuming they're too big around? First I would look at possibly thinning the inside edge of the actual light housing.

Andrew--With as cheap as MV lenses are, I would just suggest buying a smaller size because you will always be able to use the larger ones on some future project and you will save yourself the aggrivation. It will be extremely hard to get them trimmed and kept perfectly round and not damage the lense.
