I'll believe it when I see it!
At least somebody has seen one, the elusive "Bigfoot" of the plastic injection mold realm! :-) Thanks for sharing, Jan!

Thanks for posting the link, Jan. At long last we finally get to see what Bronco Models will release

Will be interesting to see if they actually do those WWII Italian CV-33 Tankettes they have announced as well.

Cheers !!

I actually held two different Bronco kits in my hands this past weekend, at the Shizuoka Modeller's Flea Market. A guy had a bunch of Bronco kits imported by a friend from Hong Kong. He had the 1/35 H39 Hotchkiss (as shown in the original post) and a 1/350 Seawolf attack sub. Very nice stuff... cheap, too.
Didn't buy either kit, though.

But they do exist!

Ok,we seem to be getting closer to the prey .Anybody selling these kits other than flea market vendors? What up with these guys? Is Bronco a therapy project for psychotic marketing gurus?

Shado1 said the H39 was selling cheap...Are we talking equal price to the latest Trumpeter stuff (KV1 etc..)??
If so.. they can sign me up for 5 Comets

Much as I respect Terry Ashley this is stil just a kit that he has gotten as a preview. I hope they are coming, I'm actually kind of expecting them to be coming, I have even gone on to say I'll believe it when Jimbrae has one in his hot little hands, but really the only thing that means anything at all is when we can buy one. Until I see it in the LHS, or some of the online shops are saying they're in stock and shipping, NOT just "coming soon", THEN I'll start salivating over Bronco.

I checked with my HK vendors and they still have no idea when the kits will be avaliable. My vendor is the big man in HK and will be the first to get Bronco when they come out. I will let you know any new news I get about these kits.

HI, I'm very impressed with the looks of this kit. Like others, I was beginning to wonder if anything would indeed come from this outfit. Sure glad to see it.

This means that maybe, just maybe, one of these days we will see the 1/16 scale Panthers they've mentioned coming along as well, one of these days.

Take care, Larry

Well, I must admit to have been a little unkind to Bronco - on a post on M-L, I did mention the possibility of a 1/35th scale Brooklyn Bridge

However, that said, I do have a lot of faith in Terry Ashley's judgement so I would definitely give him the benefit of the doubt on this one.

I do think it is very bad for business when a company releases one or two kits and then total silence (Skybow) or launches an impressive list with nothing (Bronco).

Now however, it seems as if there is some movement, we can but hope that it'll all be worth the wait...Jim

The guy at the Shizuoka Modeller's Flea Market (it's a very big event, with all the big manufacturers there, too. Not just your ordinary "flea market.") was selling the H39 for 2,900 yen, or about $24 USD. The 1/350 Seawolf was going for 2,000 yen, or about $16 USD.

Hi,

I have built the terrible Heller kit.... with some after market tracks and drive sprokets it built into a nice looking kit (after a bit of work)

I really like the H39 and wanted to build another.... I got tired of waiting for the Bronco kit so I got a Trump kit (H38)... there are many improvements over the heller kit, but still not 100% .... shuer would like to see the bronco kit though...
