On behalf of Track-Link I'd like to extend my good wishes to Armorama on your first year on-line. Keep up the good work Jim. Hopefully in the near future Armorama and Track-Link can do a project together for the benefit of all modellers on-line.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.

Paul,
Thanks for the birthday wishes. I too hope that Armorama and Track-Link can do some things together in future. We never did schedule that BigA vs. TL multi-player game competition.
Cheers,
Jim

Track Link is very good site as well (Brandenus Pimpus, it's Site not SIGHT). I frequent there all the times myself.
And as for that A VS T multiplayer game, sounds like a mighty fine idea, count me in please. But whose side I should be on? Maybe I just be someone in the middle and sided with whoever is winning.... #:-)

Great job guys! I decided to "save" my post here until today since it's my 1 year anniversary onto the site. I remember reading Jim's post on kithobbyist.com about this new site. Glad I saw it, of course at that time there were only about 1 or 2 posts a week at kithobbyist. I used that site since people were winning free kits there (I won 3 myself, including the still unbuilt RC Tiger).
A few reviews later, many posts (pushing 3k at this point in time), and a motor pool full of pictures later, this site has become a great place for the novice and expert modelers to chat without fear of the infamous flame wars some other sites have had.
Thanks for the home Jim.

I found this site while searching for model kits, references and stuff. I was building the Academy 1/72 A-10 then. I lurked for a few weeks and finally signed-up when I saw a thread that I just had to reply to (forgot what it was). I was surprised by the welcome greetings! I was impressed by the knowledge and the skill of the members! Most of all I was humbled by the kindness and camaraderie this site offers!
5 months and 20 kits later, I'm still here. I've improved a lot, not only with my modelling skills, but with some social skills as well. I've chatted with people from all over the globe and it feels good that, even with the current crisis, the world is not that bad a place.
Thanks Jim for a wonderful home. Thanks guys and gals for the warmth and the willingness to help.
Congratulations Armorama!
PS: I reserved this post for my promotion to Major

A very happy bithday to this site.Though I am a newbie to the site,I think of it as home.I followed a response to a Bradley question by Rob Gronovius(A.K.A. Sabot) in another site, here.Sad to say,I have been terrorizing the chatroom here daily and post very often. This is more than a website,it is more of a community. As for the Big A vs. TL multiplayer game,I have no idea what it means but I must follow my maser,Sith Lord Darth Davidus Arwenismineus, into the fray.
