There was a threadhere recently about using Cavalier Zimm for a Tamiya tiger and sing it on a DML Tiger. I believe it was successful on the lower hull and now I can't find the thread. Are there any updates recently?
What is the zimm kit available, Atak or Aber?

Atak is the only one so far who has produced a zimmerit set specifically for the DML late Tiger as far as I am aware.
Still waiting for a Cavalier set myself, if they ever going to produce one.

I've just finished using the Tamiya Late Cavalier Zim on the Dragon Late 3-1 Tiger.
Very minor discrepencies in fitting, the only problem I had was that the gun mantlet (?) was not hollow so the Dragon barrel wouldn't go through - I had to cut the barrel down with a hacksaw.
I can definitely recommend the Cavalier Tamiya Late Tiger zim for the Dragon.

I used the Cav Zim on my late Tiger from DML. Had to do some cutting here and there but a good fit overall. And yes the mantlet is solid but I drilled out the mantlet instead of cutting the barrel. I drilled and small "pilot " hole first then drilled it out.

As my buddy "Rebelsoldier" says...."COOL BEANS!!!!"
Another guy in the club SSGCarlson sells it at a discount. I contacted him and he is expecting several sets of this in a couple of days. You might want to get ahold of him and reserve yours. I called the first set (well actually the second as the first set is his). He has an ebay store and sells the Cavalier for $15.50 a $4 savings
