I have question for all of the experts out there. How common was it to have tracks either halftrack or tank to be put on the wrong way? I have seen several pictures of this and was wondering if it would "wrong" to do a vechicle like this.
Thanks

Its been done often --and seen it happen--- there was a thought that in certain cicumstances it improved grip ??...........as for a model .....if the "Master "..Shep Paine can do it (see front of his book --"Modelling Tanks and Military Vehicles")... who's to decry it happening :-) :-) :-)

I can attest that the direction of a track can make a difference in real life..at least on my snowmobile{hey, it has a track}. "Standard" direction is good for overall floatation and traction, while "backwards" yields better traction but less floatation.
