I've had the Tamiya SU-100 in the wokshop for ages. I would like to build this kit as something special, possibly in winter camo, battle worn but not enough to put it out of action and wondered if anyone can recommend a good reference for the tank.
Cheers,
Nick.

Hi Nick,
Sounds like fun. It's odd, but there aren't that many SU-100s in the reference books I have. However, I did notice this one on the net...

http://www.afvnews.ca/camouflage.html
There are a bunch of walk arounds available. Here's a good one...

You probably won't need it, but the same site has some rather rare photos of the interior...

Here's one of the SU-100 at Littlefield's....
http://russiannavy.net/photos/littlefield/Sept_2004/Su-100/index.html
There are a bunch on TheTankMaster near the bottom of this page...
http://www.thetankmaster.com/tanks.asp
Jagdtiger.de has six pages of them, starting here...
http://www.jagdtiger.de/index2.htm?http://www.jagdtiger.de/SovietTanks/SU-100-01.htm
Here are two good ones, but be warned, they are both slow to load...
http://www.hobby-plus.narod.ru/Nsovtank/su-100/index.htm
http://serkoff.narod.ru/photoalbum21.html
More and more...

Here's one I think you might really like. Its of a very worn SU-100 which was restored at a museum. There are some interesting pics of it being transported. It's paint is old and faded...easy to imagine it's worn whitewash. The pages start here. Hint: click on the halftrack with the arrow around it, at the bottom of the page, to go to the next page...

Just for fun...here are a couple of video clips of runners. On this one, click on the little "video" icon right below the picture...

For this one, just click on the picture...

Best 'o luck with it.

In that case, be sure to check out this page from the museum restoration I mentioned earlier...

There's another nice one of the Littlefield SU-100's interior at the bottom of this page...

And I think you'll like these too...

Thanks once again. Time to bust out the two Tamiya 1/25 SU-100s. The lack of interior reference has been the major holdup until now.
