I need a question asked guys,
I know that the color for the interiors of the Bradley is a light green or sea foam green. I've been using and still have a couple of bottles left of an old Polly Scale color called light green. My question is, what other brand has a match and what is the number or name of the color.
Thanks.

I mix my own using white and pale green. Of course I can color match to the real stuff any time I want.

Rob, do you have a formula? 50/50, 10/90?

No, I eyeball it. The M113 tranny picture I posted in the gallery is painted in seafoam green and is an exact color match. Some times I use a Monopoly $20 as a color guide, just a tad lighter.

Pete,
Testors makes a good color in their Modelmaster line called Pale Green I belevie. I tried looking on their web site, but matching them that way is really inaccurate. If you look at the rack the color will stick out when you see it

Pete---- stick to the white interior models (WWII, M-60). Avoid the latrine green ones of today. Just a thought.

White is used in combat vehicles that are not designed to open up while in contact with the enemy such as tanks (M1/M60/etc.), self-propelled howitzers (M109 series), recovery vehicles (M88A1/M578). Vehicles that expose their interiors to offload troops use seafoam green like the Bradleys (M2/3), M113 family of vehicles (M106/M577/M981) and I assume the USMC specific vehicles such as the LAV and LVTP also use seafoam green. The only portion of a mortar track, M106A2 or M1064, that is seafoam green is the driver's compartment. The mortar area is forest green and there is a little canvas curtain that separates the drivers compartment from the combat compartment.

Is the seafoam green flat then??
Understandable that you wouldn't want to give the enemy a bullseye to aim at!!

I used the Modelmaster acrylic Pale Green for a Brad I am working on. Seems to be the right color, but a shade or two too dark. Hard to tell without a color chip or a 1:1 sample (like certain other people who post here...).

As I said in my original post, I drop a couple of drops of white into the pale green (Modelmaster enamels are my normal paints). If you don't have a color chip to match (or the real thing), use a $20 Monopoly money bill (from the Parker Brothers Game).I mix my own using white and pale green.
