I have recently acquired an Aztek A470 and the Testors Blue Mini Airbrush Compressor. Problem is, I don't seem to have the right adapter to link the hose with the compressor. Is this because I don't have a regulator? I know I need the regulator, but I'm just worried that since this compressor is smaller than most, I won't be able to find the right adapter to connect it to the regulator/moisture trap. Thanks a lot for your advice. :-)

Hi Mike Welcome to Armorama. What you can do is..go to a local hardware store..bring your set up if need be...There you should be able to find the adapters you need..I have always found them at a local Mom and Pop store where I live. Owner has been very helpfull in locating the proper fittings. Good Luck!

Mike,
Pick up a roll of teflon tape, too. You will need it and it only costs about a buck.
Welcome aboard,
Shaun

is the testors blue compressor, self regulating..That is, is it suppoed to be used for airbrushing only?, if so, it maybe already set to the 20 psi that you need. Just a thought.

It definitely doesn't look like it should be used for anything other than airbrushing, it's pretty tiny. Maybe you're right about that...anyone else have any ideas about this?
