I have completed my entry for the Bombs away campaign.
Ertl's B-49 flying wing.Good kit,old molds, some joint fit problems. But It turned out well.I used Model Master Chrome Silver for the main color. If I come across strip dry transfers in black I will add walkway stries.

I found the MM Chrome Silver very easy to use.I didn't thin it,and used a medium nozzle on my Badger Cresendo.

Badger Airbrushes,used by TankCarl!

I did notice it helps to use moderate pressure, shoot from a distance

Joe's Crab Shack,next to Hooters!

and keep it mixed.I used a siphon feed jar..

Hey Carl!

Wow!
It's a beautifull and impressive plane!
If I remember correctly, it was 1:48 scale?

Hi Paul. Its actually 1/72 nd scale. It would be MASSIVE if it were in 1/48th.But I would not mind one in 1/32nd!
It has a wingspan of 29 inches, and a front to rear measurement of 10 inches.
