Someone has comments on AFV Club 1/35 scale M4 Sherman HVSS Type T-80 Workable Track Link Set?

Will these are ok for my DML Firefly VC?

These tracks are most definitely not suitable for the Sherman Firefly VC/ M4A4. These tanks were only fitted with the earlier VVSS type.

Now, I'm not a Sherman expert, nor do I play one on TV, but doesn't the Firefly VC have VVSS suspension? I have the DML kit and it doesn't have HVSS suspension.

I know HVSS track will not fit on VVSS suspension. I do not know if Fireflies ever used HVSS suspension, but I'm not a Sherman expert and especially not a Firefly expert. If it did, you would be required to replace the entire suspension system and not only the tracks.

I believe the correct tracks for the Firefly Vc would be type T56. I think even type T74 could also be used. RHPS Models already has this set out.
RHPS Models is going to or has released a set of the T56E1.

HVSS tracks were for the "EASY 8" Shermans. DML has a few kits that will take those tracks. Look for any steel cheberon typeand you'll be ducky, want a good conversationat meets and shows go with three bar cleet tracks. Brits put'em on everything....
